By accessing or using Karipe ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Platform Description
Karipe is a marketplace platform that connects homeowners with verified contractors. We provide tools for project posting, contractor matching, escrow services, and project management.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.3 User Types: Accounts are classified as Homeowner, Contractor, or Admin, each with specific rights and responsibilities.
4. Contractor Verification
Contractors must provide valid licenses, insurance, and undergo background verification. Karipe verifies provided documentation but does not guarantee contractor performance.
5. Fees and Payments
5.1 Platform Fees: Contractors pay a commission on completed projects based on their tier:

| Elite Partner | 5.99% flat + $149/month subscription | Advanced metrics, premium tier |
5.2 Processing Fees: Payment processing fees apply based on payment method.
5.3 Escrow: Project funds are held in escrow and released based on milestone completion.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Circumventing the platform to avoid fees
- Providing false information or documentation
- Harassment or discriminatory behavior
- Unauthorized use of intellectual property
- Attempting to manipulate reviews or ratings
7. Liability and Disclaimers
Karipe acts as a platform connecting parties. We are not responsible for the quality of work, project completion, or disputes between users. Our Shield Protection program provides limited coverage as specified in project agreements.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may close their accounts at any time, subject to completion of active projects.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
